Haar, one of the most beautiful and precisely onomatopaeic words in the Scots language connotes the moist quintessence of grey. The opposite of the faery fog, or Scotch mist of the warmer west, it is the very breath of the east coast.
Sketchy can still mean the exact opposite of the colloquial sense in which it is now understood. Certainly, Cameron Ross deploys sketchy aplomb to get everything precisely right, balancing the knowing and the naive, the view and the vision.
