The collection and accumulation of imagery and subsequent visual connection, both actual and invented, is constant, however. A printed tablecloth for Andrei Tarkovsky, the Russian film director, occupies some of my thinking at the moment. A visual piece of work, reacting to and 'riffing' off Tarkovsky's work, but at the same time a functional piece, where imagery alludes to the sitter and which would sit at the heart of a familial setting, the kitchen table; the heart of my domestic environment which I've talked about previously. "Which are you?"..."I'm from the 'Mirror'"..."I'm from 'Ivan's Childhood'".
